Effective date

2026-04-20

This Privacy Policy explains how Yevideo (the “Service”) collects, stores, uses, shares, and protects information when you access or use our website and related services (including AI image/video generation workspaces and marketing pages).

By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that we may process information as described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

If you have questions about this policy, contact support@yevideo.io. You may also review our Terms of Service.

1. Collecting and using your personal data

1.1 Types of data

  • Account information: such as your email, nickname, avatar (depending on sign-in method), and account-related settings.
  • Content and generation data: the prompts you enter, the images/videos/audio you upload, the models and parameters you choose, and the generated outputs and generation history.
  • Usage data: such as pages you visit, feature usage frequency, error logs, and performance metrics, used to improve experience and security.
  • Device data and cookies: used to maintain sessions, preferences, analytics, and for anti-abuse/security purposes.
  • Billing information: payments are processed by third parties; we typically only receive the necessary status information related to your order/subscription.

1.2 Information from third-party social media services

If you choose to sign in using a third-party account (such as Google), we may receive basic profile information associated with that account (e.g., name, avatar, email). You can revoke access in the third party’s authorization settings at any time. We do not access your third-party password.

2. How we use information

  • Provide and maintain the Service (sign-in, generation, history, downloads, etc.).
  • Handle your requests and customer support.
  • Ensure security and prevent abuse (e.g., abnormal access, fraud, policy-violating content).
  • Improve product experience and performance (analytics and troubleshooting).
  • Send service-related notices and updates when you choose to receive them.

3. Tracking technologies and cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies (e.g., local storage, pixels, logs) to keep you signed in, remember preferences, analyze usage trends, and improve security. You can manage cookies in your browser settings, but blocking cookies may affect certain features.

  • Strictly necessary cookies: authentication and security (e.g., anti-abuse).
  • Preference cookies: remember language and UI settings.
  • Analytics cookies: understand usage and improve experience (may involve third-party analytics providers).

4. App permissions and device features (if applicable)

If you use our mobile app (or features requiring device capabilities), we may request permissions such as Photos/Files, Camera, Microphone, or Notifications. You can manage or revoke permissions in your device settings at any time; disabling permissions may limit related features.

5. Face data and biometrics (if applicable)

We do not collect or store biometric templates for identification purposes. If you use Face ID/fingerprint authentication (e.g., Sign in with Apple), authentication is handled by your device/platform provider and we do not access your biometric data. Media you upload may contain faces; such media is used only to fulfill your generation request and handled according to the retention terms in this Policy.

6. Third-party AI processors (model providers)

To provide AI generation, we may send the minimum information required for generation (prompts, uploaded media, and necessary parameters) to third-party AI model providers. Depending on the model you choose, your data may be processed by providers including (but not limited to) OpenAI, Google, Runway, MiniMax (Hailuo), Kuaishou (Kling), and Alibaba (Wan).

  • We share only the minimum information needed for generation and de-identify data where feasible.
  • We do not share unnecessary personal identifiers (such as your email address) with model providers.
  • You can decide which provider processes your inputs by switching models.

7. Public sharing

Some features allow you to set generated content to public (for example, appearing in a public feed/explore area). If you choose to make it public, you understand that anyone may access it. You can turn off public display in the product or contact us for help.

8. Retention and deletion

We retain data only for as long as needed to achieve the purposes described in this Policy, and we may retain certain information as required by law or for dispute resolution. You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information. To request deletion, contact support@yevideo.io.

9. Your rights and opt-out choices

  • You can manage cookies in your browser settings.
  • You can request access, correction, or deletion of personal information (contact us by email).
  • If you do not want a model provider to process your inputs, choose another model.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You should also protect your device and credentials and enable available security settings.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page or communicated through appropriate channels. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
